Phil's BBQ

Phil's BBQ in San Diego.

The place was always packed. I was there on Saturday 2pm and there was a line that stretched about 30 yards outside the door. I've heard that often times it is longer.

Food was good. We had full beef rib dinner and half baby back rib dinner.

샌디에고에 있는 Phil's BBQ 입니다.

이곳은 항상 꽉 차있더군요. 토요일 오후 2시에 갔는데 문밖으로 기다리는 사란들이 30야드나 줄을 섰습니다. 자주 이보다 더 줄이 길어진다고 들어습니다.

음식은 좋았습니다. full beef rib dinner 와 half baby back rib dinner를 시식했습니다.

The Habit

The hamburger was average, but the price was a bit higher. I got their cheeseburger, fries, and a soda, and it came out to $7.01. For the same price, I probably would go to In-N-out.

햄버거는 평균이었지만, 가격이 좀 높았습니다. 치즈버거, 프렌치 프라이와 음료수가 모두 $7.01입니다. 같은 가격으로는 In-N-out으로 가겠습니다.

Banana Milkis/바나나 밀키스

Banana flavor tasted ok, but I kind of miss old plain Milkis. It's nice to see they try different ones, but what's wrong with the plain one? For some reason I'm not having a good luck finding one these days.

바나나 맛은 괜찮었으나, 옛날 일반 밀키스가 그리워 지네요. 다른 (맛을) 시도하는것이 좋지만, 일반맛은 뭐가 문제인지? 무슨 이유인지 요즘에 찾기가 힘들어지네요.

The Hat

The Hat is known for its pastrami sandwich and I gave it a shot today. I went to Rancho Cucamonga restaurant, and ordered one pastrami sandwich and a small soda. Total came out to be $10.20 ($7.49 for pastrami, $1.89 for soda + tax)

My impression is that it is good but the taste was overshadowed by too much salt. I don't see myself going back many times for it. But once in a while, I might.

The Hat은 파스트라미 샌드위치로 유명해서 오늘 한번 시식해 보았습니다. 랜초 쿠카몽가점에서 파스트라미 하나와 작은 음료수를 주문했습니다. 전부 합해서 $10.20 나왔습니다.(파스트라미가 $7.49, 음료수가 $1.89 + 세금)

제 인상은 좋지만 소금이 많아서 맛이 뒷전으로 물려나간듯 했습니다. 개인적으로는 자주 가지는 않을듯 합니다. 하지만 가끔씩 갈지도 모르겠습니다.

Cocoa roasted almond

Got some cocoa roasted almonds for snacking. They are a bit expensive. I usually get them from Sprouts. It was on sale this week($5.49/lbs).

스낵으로 먹을 코코아를 구은 아몬드 입니다. 좀 비싼 편입니다. 보통 Sprouts에서 삽니다. 이번주에 세일이더군요.($5.49/lbs).
