Gaston Glock gets married
Gaston Glock, the inventor of Glock pistol, just got married to his 31 year old bride in July. Kathrin Tschikof was working at his 'Glock Horse Performance Center'. He is 82 years old.

Tactical vs Competition training/전술 vs 경기 훈련
Recently I came across two videos that discuss about engaging steel plate rack. One was by Rob Leatham, and another is by Paul Howe.
Rob Leatham is a world class shooter who has amazing records in competitions. Paul Howe is the veteran of Delta force who was on the ground in Mogadishu. You can guess that they have different view on training with the steel plate rack.
Rob Leatham says that once you get a good sight picture and a good trigger pull, as the gun is in recoil, start moving to the next plate instead of going for follow through. Paul Howe says the opposite and encourages that shooters do a proper follow through since there is no guaranty that the target has fallen.
This shows the different use of the same equipment. There is no unilateral answer on how to shoot, it is all dependent on what you want to accomplish. There are commonalities in competition and tactical shooting, but there are also difference too.

롭 레이텀은 경기에서 놀라운 기록을 가진 세계적인 사격인입니다. 폴 하우는 그날 모가디슈에 있었던 델타포스의 베테랑입니다. 철제 접시 선반을 가지고 어떻게 훈련 할 것인지에 대해서 아주 다른 시각이 있다는 것을 짐작 할 수 있습니다.
롭 레이텀은 좋은 조준과 좋은 방아쇠 당김이 있으면, 총이 반동을 하는 동안, 팔로우 스루(동작 이어가기)를 하기 보다는 다음 접시로 움직이라고 말합니다. 폴 하우는 반대로 표적이 넘어졌다는 확인이 없으니 사격하는 사람이 제대로된 팔로우 스루를 할 것을 권합니다.
이것은 같은 장비의 다른 사용을 보여줍니다. 어떻게 사격하는냐에 대한 일방적인 답은 없고, 이루고자 하는 목표에 의존 한다는 것을 보여줍니다. 경기 사격과 전술 사격에 공통점이 있지만, 차이점도 있습니다.

John Wayne's receipt for his Colt AR is on auction block. The store is still at the place, but it no longer sells guns. The transaction was done on June 16, 1971. Colt AR was sold for $190, 3 extra 'clips' were sold for $30.
While the price might be shockingly low, that $190 in 1971 would now be $1059(using CPI calculator). So each 'clip' would have been $55 in today's price.
John Wayne's address is correct, and the house is still up for sale, to the best of my knowledge.

Lake Elsinore/레이크 엘시노어
Stopped by Lake Elsinore. It is a small town, and it has both the charm and drawback of a small town. The tallest building in the city seems to be a 4 story building that is now boarded up.
Lake Elsinore is a natural lake, and it seems to be ok for small water activities. However, I've heard that water quality is not the best. To get to the lake, I took Main St., then Limited St. and made left turn on Lakeshore Dr. There are some parking spots on Lakeshore Dr. If you want to launch your boat, you need to go through the gate of Swick and Matich park. There seems to be no commercial boat rentals.
One thing that caught my eye was free life preserve rental. I doubt they will be available during busy seasons, but it was a nice touch.
레이크 엘시노어에 갔다 왔습니다. 작은 마을인데, 작은 마을의 매력과 단점이 같이 있습니다. 가장 높은 건물은 폐쇠된 4층 짜리 건물같습니다.
레이크 엘시노어 호수는 자연적인 호수이고, 간단한 수상 활동에 적합한듯 합니다. 하지만 수질이 좋지는 않은듯 합니다. 호수가에 가기 위해서 Main. St, 그리고 Limited St. 그리고 Lakeshore Dr.에서 좌회전을 했습니다. Lakeshore Dr.에 주차할 공간이 있습니다. 보트를 물에 대려면, Swick and Matich 공원의 게이트를 통해야 합니다. 상업 보트 대여는 없는듯 합니다.
눈에 띄는것이 구명정 대여 였습니다. 성수기에는 모두 없겠지만 괜찮은 생각이었습니다.
